This update adds five additional factions to the list, because a list of ten leaves out several factions that need to be included. While we do feature an American Civil War mod on the Empire: Total War mods guide, this one is made by a different team. Other factions have to deal with stronger factions from the start (like one of the Roman factions) but have strong units early on that allow them to halt the advance of Rome's legions or Egypt's chariots. Many factions are not that strong in the early part of a game, but have a remote starting position that gives them time to build a strong empire and army. Starting position in this game is important.
